The Diagnostic
Before we write a line of code, we spend two weeks inside your operations. The Diagnostic is a structured audit, not a sales pitch: we map how work actually moves through your business, where it slows down, and which manual steps are costing you the most.
What happens in two weeks
We start with your existing systems — ERP, CRM, spreadsheets, whatever glue holds the process together today — and trace three or four workflows end to end. We interview the people who do the work daily, not just the people who manage them, because the real bottleneck is usually visible only from inside the process. By the end of week one we have a map of every handoff, delay, and manual re-entry point. By the end of week two we have a ranked list of the top three automation opportunities, each with an honest estimate of effort, risk, and payback period.
What you get at the end
A written report, not a slide deck designed to sell you the next engagement. It names the highest-leverage fix first, explains why the others rank lower, and states plainly if we think a problem isn't a good fit for custom AI engineering — sometimes the right answer is a configuration change to software you already own, or no change at all. If we can't help, we say so, and where possible we point you toward who can.
No obligation to continue
The Diagnostic is a fixed-scope, fixed-price engagement that ends with a decision point, not a contract. Some clients take the findings to their own engineering team; most ask us to build what we scoped, because by then we already understand their data model, their compliance constraints, and the shape of the fix. Either way, you leave with a clear-eyed view of where automation would actually move the needle in your organization — grounded in real EU industries we already work with, including medical logistics, automotive aftermarket, manufacturing, professional services, and B2B distribution.
Who this fits
Companies that already run on real systems — an ERP, a CRM, a ticketing queue — and suspect that a specific, nameable process is quietly expensive. It's less useful if you don't yet have a process to audit; in that case, Bespoke Engineering or a direct conversation is a better starting point than the Diagnostic.
